Born April 27, 1973, at Iowa City, Iowa, she was the daughter of Roy and Jo Ann Groenen-boom Walters. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Evening Shade.
Her mother-in-law, Marian Marchbanks, died later the same day.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Marchbanks of the home; a son, Norman Thomas Marchbanks of the home; a stepson, Joseph Thomas Marchbanks of Poughkeepsie; two daughters -- Melissa Marchbanks and Kimberly Marchbanks, both of the home; three stepdaughters, Angie McCoy of Union, Iowa, Brandy Morrow of Batesville, and Candy Marchbanks of Poughkeepsie; her parents -- Roy and Jo Ann Walters of New Providence, Iowa; four brothers -- Adam Terry of Owassa, Iowa, Lonny Terry of Paragould, Craig Terry and Roy Walters, Jr., both of Union; four sisters -- Patty Klaas of Marshalltown, Iowa, Bobby Corson of New Providence, Victoria Walters of Batesville, and Melinda Clark of Salem; two stepgrandchildren -- Skyla McCoy of Union City, and Kaylee Marchbanks of Batesville; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was March 4 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Pastor John Deaton officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
