Etta Mae (Laman) Chaudoin, 84, of Cave City, died May 2, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born Feb. 9, 1923, at Cave City, the son of William Nelson and Elizabeth (Stewart) Laman.
She was homemaker and a member of Eutopia Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Carol Etta Kennedy and husband George of Cord, Marcia Street and husband James Mack Street of Cave City; four grandchildren Shane Battles of Cord, Marc Street and wife Sara of Cave City, Jessica Street of Bentonville and Timothy Street of Cave City; one great-granddaughter, Morgan LeeAnn Street of Cave City; and several nieces; nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marcus Chaudoin; one brother, Carlos Laman; five sisters, Maxine Johnson, Verba Lee Johnson, Carol Wanda Parsley; and two infant sisters. The funeral services were held May 5 at the Eutopia Missionary Baptist Church located west of Cave City with Bro. James Smith and Bro. Carroll Kinley officiating. Burial followed in the Eutopia Cemetery located west of Cave City with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral home of Cave City. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Shane Battles, Marc Street and Timothy Street and her nephews, Dwain Johnson, Larry Johnson, Travis Parsley, Gary Johnson and Phillip Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were Raymond Staggs, Mitchell Gardner, Dr. Robert Walton, Dr. Robin Williams and the WRMC ICU Staff.
