Elizabeth Norine Hodge, 89, of Belle, Mo., formerly of Sandtown, Ark., died Jan. 28, 2004, in Frene Valley Retirement Center at Hermann, Mo.
Born Oct. 5, 1914, at Sandtown, she was the daughter of William E. and Elizabeth Tugwell Montgomery. She was a retired school teacher and was a member of First Baptist Church in Belle.
Survivors include two stepdaughters -- Louise Finn and Lucille Finn, both of Belle; four grandchildren -- Loretta Cook of Eugene, Mo., Larry Finn of Belle, Sonia Taylor of Rolla, Mo., and Carla Hugger of Metairie, La.; six great-grandchildren -- Jason and Travis Cook, Justin, Chelsea and Carley Finn, and Paige Taylor; a sister, Maude Hamlett of Batesville; a niece; and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Hodge.
The funeral was Feb. 1 at Pool's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church at Sandtown with Jimmy Richardson and J.W. Roach officiating. Burial was in Lee's Chapel Cemetery at Sandtown. Arrangements were by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were John McGehee, Robert McGehee, Eric McGehee, Chris Tharp, Randy Manuel and Kenneth Manuel.
