Wilma Wells Estes, 81, of Mammoth Spring, formerly of Ash Flat, died Dec. 14, 2001, at her daughter's home.
Born Oct. 9, 1920, in Myron, she was the daughter of William C. Wells and Virgie Mylinda Hastings Wells. She was a member of Ash Flat First Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband -- Shirley and Doyle Reynolds of Mammoth Spring; two stepsons and their wives -- John and Frances Estes, and Joe and Ann Estes; two brothers -- Stacy Wells and Tillman Wells, both of Wenatchee, Wash.; a sister, Evelyn Britts of Spokane, Wash.; a sister-in-law, Dora Wells of Ash Flat; four grandchildren -- Dennis Reynolds, Tina McCarson, Steven Herrington and Denise Herrington; six step-grandchildren -- Chris Estes, David Estes, James Estes, Julie Johnson, Mark Estes and Mike Estes; four great-grandchildren -- Kayla Reynolds and Dakota Reynolds, Karley Herrington and Bethany Shea Herrington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Truman Brown; her second husband, Clyde Estes; two brothers -- J.P. Wells and James D. Wells; and a sister, Pauline Seamen.
The funeral was Dec. 17 at First Baptist Church in Ash Flat with the Rev. Van Brown officiating. Burial followed at Wiles Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
