James A. "Buddy" Eversoll, 66, of Ash Flat died Dec. 8, 2001 at his home.
Born June 30, 1935, in Big Flat, he was the son of Melvin Eversoll and Lula Martin Eversoll. He worked many years as a farmer. He move to Ash Flat 12 years ago from Leslie. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie Eversoll of Missouri; three daughters -- Carol King of Illinois, Sharon Eversoll of Florida, and Linda Kelly of Michigan; a brother, Troy Eversoll of Ash Flat; a sister, Fern Woodard of Pocahontas; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Maybell; and a brother, Lee Roy Eversoll.
The funeral was Dec. 14 at the Round Mountain Pentecostal Church near Timbo with the Rev. Carl Mize and the Rev. Charlie Holt officiating. Burial followed at Farris Cemetery in Timbo.
Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
