Fred D. Patton, 81, of Highland died Aug. 16, 2004, at his home.
Born Feb. 9, 1923, in Detroit, Mich., he was the son of Fred Dock Patton Sr. and Adelena Leland Patton. He was a photographer and musician and attended Ash Flat Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma R. Patton of the home; two sisters -- Claire Knight of Auburn Hills, Mich., and Ruth Mousseau of Troy, Mich.; a grandson, James Patterson, and a granddaughter, Anne Ella Patton, both of Westland, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Charles "Pat" Patton; and a sister, Virginia Ade.
The funeral service was Aug. 19 at Ash Flat Church of Christ with Rev. Keith Gregson officiating. Burial followed in the Old Baptist Cemetery in Ash Flat, with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Lewis, Jason Stephens Jr., Garry Duhme Jr., Aaron Gregson, Larry Lewis and Danny Stevens.
Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
