Frances L. Fischer, 88, of Cherokee Village died Sept. 2, 2004, at Eastern Ozarks Regional Health System in Cherokee Village.
Born Jan. 28, 1916, in North Little Rock, she was the daughter of William Jones and Pauline Rinke Jones. She married Paul Fischer in 1943 in Little Rock.
She worked as a real estate agent for most of her career. She moved to Cherokee Village with her husband five years ago from Asheville, N.C. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Fischer of the home; a daughter, Mary Frances Fischer of Taos, N.M.; and a grandchild.
A funeral mass was Sept. 7 at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Kevin Atunzu officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock.
Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
The family requests that memorials be made to the organization of one's choice.
