Frankie Leroy Thomas, 69, of Mammoth Spring died July 7, 2004, at his home.
Born Oct. 20, 1934, in Malvern, he was the son of Charles Davidson Thomas and Goldie Washington Clark Thomas.
He was married Aug. 27, 1968, to Anna Gean Walters at Mammoth Spring. He was in the United States Army and later was self-employed in septic tank maintenance.
He was a member of Thayer Eagles for 15 years and was of the Baptist faith. He attended the Spring River Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Gean of the home in Mammoth Spring; two sons -- Michael and his wife, Denise, of Hardy, Ark., and Charles Dale Thomas and his wife, Kathy, of Pomona, Mo.; three grandchildren -- Cassandra Thomas, Ashley Thomas and Natanya Thomas; a great-grandchild; two sisters -- Helen Beavers of Williford, and Louise Brinker of Louisville, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters -- Carolyn Ann Thomas and Joanna Gail Thomas; two sisters -- Sylvia Erwin and Goldie Mae Yates.
The funeral was July 10 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with the Rev. Floyd Rikard officiating.
Burial was in the Williford Cemetery at Williford with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home Inc. of Thayer.
