Fern Maxine Taylor, 84, of Hardy was born May 29, 1922, in Munden, Kan., the daughter of Morrill Glen Adams and Mary Ina (Hess) Adams. She died Jan. 15, 2007, at her home.
She worked as a cook in many restaurant in the Hardy area and was a loving and devoted housewife for many years.
Survivors include her three sons, Freddie A. Taylor and wife Gloria of Mammoth Spring, Timmy Taylor and fiance' Pam of Orlando, Fla., and Rusty Taylor of Hardy; two daughters, Sandra Kay Zink and husband Joe of Memphis, and Elaine Woten of Hardy; one daughter-in-law, Connie Taylor of Hardy; three grandsons, Danny Taylor of Hardy, Chris Zink of Memphis and Ronnie Taylor of Orlando, Fla.; 10 granddaughters, Joy Underwood of Mammoth Spring, Patsy Bishop of Jonesboro, Jodi Kendal of Edgewater, Md., Fancy Taylor of Black Rock, Elaine Faulkner of Heber Springs, Hollie Taylor of Orlando, Fla., Clarissa and Timmy D. Taylor of Polston, Mont., and Amanda and Felice Taylor of Hardy; seven great-grandsons; six great-granddaughters; two great-great-grandchildren; and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Falice "A" Taylor; three sons, Jerry, Ronnie and Ricky Taylor; one granddaughter, Stephanie Fulgham; one brother, Almon D. Adams; and two sisters, Rachel and Margaret Adams.
The funeral services were held Jan. 19 at the Spring River Baptist Church near Hardy with Bro. Floyd Rikard officiating. Burial followed in the Bronaugh Cemetery at the church. The funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
Pallbearers were Danny Taylor, Chris Zink, Cory Zink, Robin Bishop, Austin Taylor and Ronnie Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Davis and Bobby Duncan.
