Frances Pauline Bone, 83, of Batesville, Ark., died May 1, 2008, at her home. She was born June 11, 1924, at Sage, Ark., to Winfield Scott and Cora Pearlie (Crisco) Vickery. She was the retired owner of Pauline's Bible Bookstore in Batesville, a Christian and held devotionals regularly at Wood-Lawn Nursing Home and Intermed Nursing Home in Batesville. She attended the First Freewill Baptist Church in Batesville. Survivors include: her husband, Bernard Bone of the home; one grandson and his wife, Scott and Tina Bone of Batesville; one granddaughter and her husband, Malinda and Jason Lilly of Alexander; three great-granddaughters; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Bone of Millington, Tenn.; one sister-in-law, Vera Vickery of Salem; one niece; two nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents; one son, Michael Lee Bone; and one brother, Ishmal Vickery. Funeral services were held May 3 at the Reeves Pine Grove Church located near Guion with Bro. Bobby Shepherd and Bro. Hoover Lewis officiating. Burial followed in the Reeves Cemetery located near Guion with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Pallbearers were David Boutwell, Lynn Ayers, Leroy Edgin, Alan Vickery, Greg Vickery and Timothy Crouch.
