Frances E. Pettengell, 83, of Cherokee Village died Feb. 13, 2004, at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock.
Born Jan. 29, 1921, in Blue Earth, Minn., she was the daughter of Arthur and Clarissa Peterson. She married Robert Pettengell Oct. 9, 1943, in Yuma, Ariz. She moved to Cherokee Village 10 years ago from Jonesboro, and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village.
Survivors include two sons -- Patrick A. Pettengell of North Little Rock, and Michael J. Pettengell of Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Ann Kelling of Selmer, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert E. Pettengell Sr.; a son, Robert E. Pettengell Jr.; and a brother.
A rosary will be Feb. 20 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village with a memorial mass to follow at 8:15 a.m.
Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rosary Makers.
