Glenn M. "Buck" Williams, 69, of Glencoe died Nov. 28, 2002, at his home.
Born July 7, 1933, in Cincinnati, he was the son of James M. and Margaret Clay Williams.
He married Gay Langston June 16, 1955, at Salem. He was a farmer and an ordained minister since 1961. He was the pastor at Heart General Baptist Church until his illness forced him to retire.
Survivors include his wife; a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Jenny Williams of Heart; two daughters and sons-in-law -- Cheryl and Ron Yow of Heart, and Ruth Ann and Michael Barnett of Salem; a brother, Ed Williams of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters -- Mary Faith Mills of Ash Flat, and Martha Stroud of Heart; six grandchildren -- April Casey, Stacy Vaughn, Rebecca Price, Jessica Prescott, Jenah Barnett and Austin Williams; five great-grandchildren -- Jordan and Jackson Vaughn, Rhiannon Casey, Matthew Price and Halli Ann Prescott; and special niece, Angie Ferguson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Clifford Williams and Jim Williams.
The funeral was Dec. 1 at Heart Baptist Church with Sid Williamson and Clark Stephens officiating. Burial followed at Burks Chapel Cemetery.
