Gladys Alma Carmack, 90, of Hardy, formerly of Caraway, died May 3, 2003, at her home.
Born July 13, 1912, in Hardy was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Caraway.
Survivors include three sons -- John Carmack of Hardy, Doyle Carmack of Fairgrove, Mo., and Don Carmack of Stafford, Mo.; five daughters -- Doris Breeze of Garden Grove, Calif., Polly Sagrillo of Escondido, Calif., Jerry McRaven of Springfield, Mo., Sharon Phipps of Rogersville, Mo., and Diane Biggs of Woodland, Calif.; a sister, Joyce Sparks of Caraway; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hamp and Leona Woods Sitz; her husband, Clarence Carmack; a brother, Burl Sitz; a sister, Bernice Harris; and a great-grandson, Kevin Carmack.
The funeral was May 8 at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel in Jonesboro with Michael Johnson officiating. Burial was in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers were her grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
