Gerald Wayne Thomas, 50, of Breckenridge Hills, Mo., died Oct. 12, 2004, in Creve Coeur, Mo.
Born Feb. 3, 1954, in St. Louis, he was the son of Melvis "Dock" and Dorothy Burns Thomas. He was small engine mechanic and of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Lamastus Thomas of the home; four sons -- Brian Thomas, Craig Thomas, Keith Thomas and Stephen Thomas, all of St. Louis; a daughter, Emily Thomas of the home; his mother -- Dorothy Thomas of Smithville, Ark.; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; his first wife, Deborah Lynn Derr Thomas; and a daughter, Stephanie Thomas.
The funeral was Oct. 15 at Bettis Town Church of Christ near Poughkeepsie with Jack Richardson officiating. Burial followed in Spotts Cemetery at Poughkeepsie with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Craig Thomas, Stephen Thomas, Tommy Morgan, Mike Stavely, Charles Breckle and Bob Burns.
Honorary pallbearers were Steve Bailey, Aaron Estes and Ray Gann.
