Edith May Hagan, 89, of Hardy died Nov. 20, 2001, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born June 6, 1912, in Williford, she was the daughter of Noah Elexander and Sarah Elizabeth Rader Ladd. She was married to Uba Ulysess Hagan on July 6, 1930, in Mountain Grove, Mo. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1977. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bradford Community Church in Ravenden.
Survivors include a son, U. Austin Hagan of Paragould; a daughter, Freda Elizabeth Miller of Hardy; a sister, Vera Hassler of Apple Valley, Calif.; two grandchildren -- Michelle A. Rogers of Jonesboro and Tara C. Stovall of Paragould; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Linda Jo Hagan; eight brothers; and two sisters.
The funeral was Nov. 24 at Bradford Community Church in Ravenden with the Rev. Gaylon Russell officiating. Burial followed in Bradford Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service Inc. of Hardy.
