Harvey E. Godfrey, 56, of Cherokee Village, died March 31, 2004, in Mountain Home.
Born June 30, 1947, at Poplar Bluff, Mo., he was the son of W.A. and Eunice Duren Godfrey.
He was employed in law enforcement during his working years.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Funk Godfrey of Cherokee Village; his mother, Eunice Godfrey of Hardy; two daughters -- Mandy Saunders of Bono, and Melissa Donnely of Minot, N.D.; a son, Michael Buford of West Helena; a sister, Sharon Henson, and husband, Jerry of West Helena; a brother, Albert Godfrey, and wife, Pam of Hardy; four aunts -- Alma O'Keefe of Hardy, Winnie Thomas of Poplar Grove, Daisy Griffis of Batesville, and Edith Fife and husband, Elray, of Missouri; three grandchildren; a nephew, Robert and Sherry Godfrey of Rogers; and a niece, Lisa House of Southaven, Miss.
He was preceded in death by his father, W.A. Godfrey of Marianna.
The funeral was April 3 at Sunset Memorial Park with Joe Berry officiating. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park with arrangements under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Helena.
