William H. Henry, 64, of Hardy, formerly of Benton, died Jan. 24, 2002, at his home.
Born Nov. 24, 1937, in Mammoth Spring, he was the son of Floyd Clifford and Josephine Bell Glapenska Henry. He married Kathy Lunceford Aug. 27, 1964, in Yorkville, Ill. He was a truckdriver for Cunningham Brothers in Benton for over 23 years and attended the Ward Street Church of Christ in Hardy.
Survivors include his wife; four sisters -- Anna Evans of Hardy, Kathy Henry of Kimberlyn City, Mo., Anna Marie Thornton of Nixa, Mo., and Barbara Williams of Texas; three brothers -- Clifford and Dennis Henry, both of Hardy, and Wayne Henry of Oswega, Ill., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three nieces, -- Barbara Evans, Dana Kay Evans and Kimberly Dawn Evans.
The funeral was Jan. 25 at the chapel of Higginbotham Funeral Home of Hardy, with Floyd Rikard officiating. Burial followed in Hershberger Cemetery in Cherokee Village.
Arrangements were under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service Inc. of Hardy.
