Bobby Jean High, 60, of Ravenden, died March 6, 2002, at Ravenden.
Born July 18, 1941, in Mississippi County, he was the son of Finis High and Ethel Dunham Lawson. He was a carpenter, an Army veteran and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons -- Jeffery Allen High and his wife, Kim, and Edward Dalton High and his wife, Donna, all of New Albany, Miss.; three sisters -- Pauline Brown and her husband Bob, of Puxico, Mo., Arlene Sellers of Cedar Hill, Mo., and Christine Franks of Ravenden; and two grandchildren, Zachary High and Olivia High, both of New Albany, Miss.
He was preceded in death by his father; his step-father, Dennis Lawson; a brother, Robert High; a sister, Jo Ann High; and two sons -- Robbie High and Bobbie High.
The funeral was March 8 at Higginbotham Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Burial followed in Kelly Cemetery near Black Rock.
Arrangements were under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service Inc. of Walnut Ridge.
