Heinrich Ferdianand Kutsch, 96, of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., died March 1, 2008, at his residence. He was born in Essen, Germany, on Aug. 27, 1911, the son of the late Henrich and Martha (Pieper) Kutsch. He worked as a sheetmetal worker for a fabrication company and was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Horseshoe Bend.
He was the widower of Martha Marie (Jankus) Kutsch.He is survived by: a daughter, Erica Sommer of Horseshoe Bend; a son, Heinz Kutsch (Rebecca) of Henderson, Nev.; a sister-in-law, Elisabeth White of Vista, Calif.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Manfred Kutsch; his parents; a brother, Franz Kutsch; and a sister Herta Schoenke.Graveside services were held at Evening Shadows Memorial Park Cemetery in Horseshoe Bend March 2 with Rev. David Tewes officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel.A memorial service was held by the family March 8 at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Horseshoe Bend.
