Hubert Lindsey, 66, of Cave City, Ark., died Sept. 9, 2007, at the Ash Flat Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Ash Flat. He was born April 4, 1941, at Maxville, Ark., the son of Roe and Nola Mae (Gifford) Lindsey.
He was a retired timber worker.Survivors include: one son, David Lindsey of Cave City; one daughter, Ada Yancey of Cave City; three brothers, Junior Lindsey of Cave City, Calvin Lindsey of Evening Shade and Gene Lindsey of Pfeiffer; one sister, Royce Reding of Sidney; one granddaughter, Lacy Dawn Yancey of Cave City; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by: his parents; one sister, Lois Barber; and two nephews, John Lindsey and Jay Reding.Graveside services were held Sept. 11 at the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with Bro. L.J. Gay officiating.
