Palmer T. Hoggard, 91, of Cave City died Nov. 17, 2001, at North Arkansas Life Care Center in Horseshoe Bend.
Born June 20, 1910, he was the son of Oliver and Laura Townsley Hoggard. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include four sons -- Ray Hoggard of Derby, Kan., Wayne Hoggard of Carls Junction, Mo., Brady Hoggard of Searcy, and Dale Hoggard of Pryor, Okla.; two daughters -- Dora Redding of Fenton, Mo., and Euna Faye Parsons of Walnut Ridge; a brother, Eulis Hoggard of Batesville; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma Hoggard; four brothers -- Thurman Hoggard, Leo Hoggard, Owen Hoggard and Arville Hoggard; four sisters -- Euna Price, Anna Simpson, Essie Brown and Elmarine McLeod; and a great-grandson, Jay Hoggard.
The funeral was Nov. 20 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel with Grayden Milligan officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery east of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Phil Hoggard, Gary Hoggard, Rick George, Brad Hoggard, Glen Redding and Randy Parsons.
Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
