Harvey Eugene Park, 76, of Cherokee Village died April 15, 2003, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born in Hazel Crest, Ill., he was the son of Harvey Edward and Garnett Neeves Park.
He served in the Navy During World War II and was a retired police officer from the Forest, Ill., Police Department. He was a member of Cherokee Village United Methodist Church, the Methodist men's group, Cherokee Village Men's Golf Association and was an Eagle Scout.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Park of the home; a daughter, Sandy Muzzell of Petaluma, Calif.; three stepdaughters -- Madonna White of Blue Mountain, Miss., Brenda Evans of Pearland, Texas, and Stephanie Holland of Tupelo, Miss.; a brother, Frank Park of Cherokee Village; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service was April 18 at Cherokee Village United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim West and the Rev. Norman Fedderly officiating. Burial was in the church columbarium.
Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
