Hazel Parlee Holland Burr, age 77, of Batesville died May 30, 2006, at the Ash Flat Nursing and Rehab Center in Ash Flat.
She was born Sept. 2, 1928, at Nelsonville, Ark., the son of the late Edgar and Paralee (Lasley) Holland.
She moved to Truman in 1950 and retired from Singer Corporation. She was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Trumann.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Burr of Cave City, Gary Burr of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Holland Burr of Luxora, Ark.; one daughter, Regina Ellington of Jacksonville, Tenn.; one brother, Lowell Holland of Bridgetown, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Levon Burr.
Funeral services were held June 2 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. M.D. Parmley officiating. Burial followed in the Marvin Cemetery located near Nelsonville, with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home.
