Inez Hugueley, 86, of Topeka, Kan., formerly of Cave City, died Feb. 13, 2002, at Plaza West Regional Medical Center in Topeka.
Born Dec. 25, 1915, at Emery, she was the daughter of James Proctor and Willie C. Rogers Eason.
She was a retired optician, lived most of her life in Arkansas, and was a member of Cave City Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Billy Lyn Hugueley of San Antonio; a daughter, Sophronie "Sophie" Ann George, of Topeka; five grandchildren -- Scott Hugueley of Chicago, Steve Hugueley and Angela Harrington, both of Houston, Tatum George Bandy of Las Vegas, and Troy George of Topeka; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 43 years, L.H. Hugueley; a son, Ronnie Lee Hugueley; four brothers -- Kirley Eason, Everett Eason, Arbus Eason and Barney Eason; and a sister, Ester Mobley.
The funeral was Feb. 17 at Cave City Church of Christ with Dean Fuggett officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery located east of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Steven Hugueley, Troy Bandy, Scott Hugueley and Trey George.
Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
