Harold E. Hutchison, 76, of Evening Shade, died Jan. 28, 2002, at his home.
Born Nov. 23, 1925, at Poughkeepsie, he was the son of Jasper Lee and Junie Hulett Hutchison. He was retired from the National Weather Service, served on the Grange Calamine Water Association Board for several years, and was a member of First Baptist Church at Evening Shade.
Survivors include his wife, Fay Stroud Hutchison; a daughter, Linda Ann Braatz of Appleton, Wis.; a brother, J.L. Hutchison of Cherokee Village; two granddaughters -- Lynette Michaels of Menasha, Wis., and Lorie Downs of Oshkosh, Wis.; three great-grandchildren -- Remington Greely of Menasha, Bryce Downs and Tyler Downs, both of Oshkosh; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Mary Patricia Hutchison; two brothers -- Hale Hutchison and Edward Hutchison; and two sisters -- Mable Hutchison and Peggy Goodman.
The funeral was Jan. 30 at First Baptist Church at Evening Shade with Robert Hutchison officiating. Burial followed in Evening Shade Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ed Farris, Tony Farris, Larry Snuffer, Frank Arnold, Ray Runsick, Paschal Spurlock and Paul Schmidtbauer.
Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
