Izora Berry died June 22, 2006, at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Mo., at the age of 91.
She was born Aug. 20, 1914, in Mammoth Spring the daughter of the late Hoid Kerby and Effie Mae (Cherry) Kerby.
She was united in marriage June 10, 1934, in Mammoth Spring to Harry Earle Berry who preceded her in death Nov. 13, 2001.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Joan Simers and husband Bob of Mammoth Spring; two grandsons, Rob Simers and wife Brenda of Ash Flat and Steve Simers and wife Rae Lynn of Mammoth Spring; four great-grandchildren, Earle Wayne Simers, Timothy Simers, Brittany Simers and Jacob Simers; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Zane Simers and Brennon Simers; several nieces, nephews and other relatives; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Arthur, Orvis, Millard and Cletes Kerby; and one sister, Verna Smith.
The funeral services were held on June 26 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer.
Burial followed in the Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, with Lee Moses officiating. Arrange-ments were under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
Pallbearers were Harold Jackson, Bill Wooldridge, Edd Washam, Steve Atkins, Jerry French and Bill Pace.
