Iva Ford McIntire, 79, of Ash Flat died Jan. 23, 2004, at Eastern Ozarks Regional Health System in Cherokee Village.
Born Dec. 4, 1924, in Kings Mill, Ark., she was the daughter of Mary Shands Goodman and Jody Goodman.
She was a homemaker and worked for Village Vacations in Cherokee Village.
Survivors include five sons -- Tilman Ford of Russellville, Ind., Ernie Ford of Cave City, Bo Ford of Ash Flat, Danny Ford of Cherokee Village, and Jim McIntire of Indiana; five daughters -- Ann Ballard of Ash Flat, Alice Rowe of Martinsville, Ind., Betty Hughs of Danville, Ind., Sharon Whitaker of Crawfordsville, Ind., and Diane Frell of Indiana; three brothers -- Doyle Goodman and Shelby Goodman, both of Evening Shade, and Johnny Goodman of Desha, Ark.; two sisters -- Lee Beismeyer of Pevley, Mo., and Geanie Jackson of Evening Shade; 34 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond McIntire; three grandchildren; her parents; three brothers; a sister; and two sons.
The funeral was Jan. 26 at First Baptist Church of Ash Flat with Randall Glenn and Alan Hughs officiating. Burial was in Wiles Cemetery in Ash Flat. Arrangements were under the direction of Heath Funeral Home of Hardy.
Pallbearers were Bob Johnson, Wayne Goodman, Jimmy Herron, Scott Goodman, Kenny Goodman, Kavin Beismeyer, Rick Beismeyer and Bobby Goodman.
Honorary pallbearers were Terry Goodman, John Goodman, Joe Goodman and Tim Goodman.
