Irma Lee Owens, 69, of Horseshoe Bend died Sept. 2, 2003, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem.
Born Oct. 5, 1933, at Ennis, Texas, she was the daughter of Thomas Leroy and Etta Mae Deail Greenhaw Wilson.
In June 1952 she was married in Tijuana, Mexico, to Jack Owens. Before her retirement, she was employed as a waitress at Ramada Inn and was a member of the Elks Lodge.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Owens of the home; a daughter, Marty Beavers and husband, Larry, of West Plains, Mo.; two grandchildren -- Terri Self and husband, Eric, of West Plains, and Brandon Beavers and fiancee, Michelle Ackerman, of Springfield, Mo.; two brothers -- Delbert Wilson and wife, Ruby, and Melvin Wilson, all of Surprise, Ariz.; a sister, Maxine Scamara and husband, Victor, of Fontana, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private service for Irma Lee Owens will be held at a later date. Arrangements will be under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
