Ioney Ring Flannigan, 90, of Evening Shade died Oct. 9, 2004, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born May 18, 1914, near Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Cassel and Nettie Ring Shirley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Poughkeepsie Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters -- Shirley A. Rigney of Jonesboro, Ind., and Shelia Fowler of Horseshoe Bend; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two husbands -- Fred Ring and Louis Ted Flannigan; two sons -- Conard Leon Ring and Rolan Ring; three daughters -- Maggie Marie Ring, Joycee Darlene Ring, and Vida Marie Ring; five brothers -- Ethel Shirley, Ozrow Shirley, Clarence Shirley, Ottie Shirley and Corbit Shirley; and a sister, Bertie Kent.
The funeral was Oct. 13 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Tom Henley officiating. Burial followed in Maxville Cemetery north of Cave City. Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Joe Craig Fowler, Nathan Tierce, Luke Haney, Kevin Fowler, Gary Fowler, Steve Allen, Laney Shirley and Larry Fowler.
