Jean Huff, 71, of Pleasant Plains, Ark., died April 16, 2008, at a Searcy hospital. She was born Feb. 11, 1937, at Allen Ky., to John and Virgie (Burchett) Fannin. She was a homemaker, worked for General Industries in Bald Knob and was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include: her husband, Gene Huff of the home; three sons, Roger Dean Pruitt, Arvil Roscoe Pruitt Jr. and Johnny Ray Pruitt all of Judsonia; two daughters, Kathy Lee and Tammy Pratt both of Judsonia; three stepdaughters, Gwen Davis, Marsha Kay Allen and Kathy Ramsey all of Birmingham, Ala.; one brother, Charles Fannin of Prestonberg, Ky.; two sisters, Alice Jarvis and Mary Rose both of Prestonberg, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held April 20 at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. Burial followed in the Putman Cemetery located at Pleasant Plains with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Pallbearers were Rodney Pruitt, Michael Pruitt, Roger Braxton Lee, Carl Ray Pruitt, Billy Shawn Pruitt, Adam Weeden, Jonathan Pruitt and Cody Pratt.
