Juanita J. Campbell, 67, of Highland died Feb. 17, 2006, at the Ash Flat Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born Feb. 2, 1939, in Elk City, Kan., the daughter of Emma Trotter Hodge and the late Victor B. Hodge. She worked many years as a secretary.
She moved to Sharp County 14 years ago from California. She loved to travel and go to flea markets and she loved horses and the outdoors.
She enjoyed many years of involvment with the Kit Carson Mountain Men.
Survivors include her mother, Emma Hodge of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Tonya Hackett and her life partner, Betty Jessup, of Carmichael, Calif., and Vicki Brink and husband, Sidney, of Highland; one sister, Junia Brandon of Wichita; four grandchildren, Shannon Figgins and husband, Brent, James Brink, Samantha Brink, and Ryan Brink, all of Highland; three great-grandchildren; one nephew, Jimmy and Cynthia Sheets of Wichita; cousins, Nadine, Albert and Debbie Hase of Rio Linda, Calif.; and very good friends, Edward and Mary Henman of Ash Flat.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
