Jeff Koch, 30, of Evening Shade died Feb. 5, 2006, in Horseshoe Bend. He was born May 7, 1975, in Batesville, the son of David Allen and Pamela Jo Wooldridge Koch.
He was an environmental specialist for the state of Arkansas, a brick mason and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Charley Whisenand Koch of the home; two sons, Brandon Jeffery Koch and Charles David Koch, both of the home; one daughter, Madison Irene Koch of the home; his father and step-mother, David and Sharon Koch of Evening Shade; his mother, Pamela Koch of Cave City; two brothers, Joel Koch of Cave City and James Koch of Evening Shade; two sisters, Paula Pectol of Batesville and Melanie Westmoreland of Cave City; paternal grandmother, Betty Koch of Evening Shade; one nephew, Layne Koch of Ash Flat; two nieces, Meghan Pectol of Batesville and Elza Westmoreland of Cave City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bert Koch; and his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Rhoda Wooldridge.
The funeral services were held Feb. 7 at the Evening Shade School Gymnasium with Bro. Wesley Sharp officiating. Burial followed in the Maxville Cemetery north of Cave City, with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Jerry Medlock, Shannon Milligan, John Shands, Johnny Ray Taylor, Casey Jackson and Donnie Bowser.
Honorary pallbearers were Shawn Wooldridge, Jason Wooldridge, Brian Koch, Job Krause, Ethan Schutt, Aaron Schutt and Michael Wooldridge.
