Jenetta P. Lindsey, 68, of Williford died Aug. 26, 2006, in the Fulton County Hospital in Salem. She was born Nov. 14, 1938, in Walnut Ridge, the daughter of Lee and Meda Marshall Powell. She married Fred Lindsey at First Baptist Church in Ravenden Springs on Nov. 14, 1954.
She worked as a secretary and bowled for over 30 years. She was a former member of the Fox Trotter Association of Arkansas and Missouri.
She is survived by a son, Wayne Lindsey of Iowa City; a daughter, Ronda Catherine Friend of Nashville, S.C.; a brother, T.J. "Sonny" Powell of Ash Flat; two sisters, Emma Sawyer of Williford, and Glenda Ervin of Cherokee Village; one granddaughter, Shannon Petty; and three great-grandchildren, Keith, Wayne and Jessica Petty, all of Mountain Home.
Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.
The funeral services will be held Aug. 30 at the Tri-County Funeral Home with Rev. Foyd Rikard officiating. Burial will be in the Baker Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Tri-County Funeral.
Memorials are preferred to the Parkinson's Foundation.
