James R. "Bob" Hansen, 77, of Cherokee Village died Dec. 29, 2002, at his home.
Born Aug. 12, 1925, at Scandinavia, Wis., he was the son of Emil Walter and Faith Lamb Hansen. He was a retired real estate broker and a member of Peace Lutheran Church at Cherokee Village.
Survivors include his wife, Lenice Regel Hansen; two daughters and a son-in-law -- Kay and Frank Wiggins of Cherokee Village, and Susan Hansen of Houston, Mo.; four sons and three daughters-in-law -- Jack Hansen of Cherokee Village, Jim and Debbie Hansen of Cave City, John and Cindi Hansen of Cherokee Village, Jay and Connie Hansen of Benton; a brother, Hance Hansen of Port Edwards, Wis.; three sisters -- Marjory Neubauer of Larson, Wis., Carol Hardel of Scandinavia, Wis., and Betty Biederman of Ocala, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters -- Beulah Torgenson and Alice Thompson.
A memorial service was Jan. 1 at Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Brian Pummill officiating. Interment was in the Peace Memorial Garden at Cherokee Village.
Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
