James "Jim" Henley

James "Jim" Stephen Henley, of Salem, son of Marvelee Joyce (Crabtree) Henley and the late James Ellsworth Henley was born Oct. 15, 1965, in McAlester, Okla. He died Feb. 27, 2007, at his home in Salem, at the age of 41.

He was a loving father and grandfather. He worked as a clinical coordinator and Nursing IT project manager for the Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was member of the Salem Church of Christ.

He is survived by: a son, Logan Henley of Salem; a daughter, Brittany Morris of Cherokee Village; granddaughter, Hallie Morris of Cherokee Village; his mother, Marvelee Henley of Salem; a brother, Rick Henley of Jonesboro; two sister, Linda Tillman of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Leisa Caldwell of Maryville, Tenn.; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Henley, a nephew, Landon Caldwell and two nieces, Gina Renee Henley and Krystal Dawn King.

Funeral services were held March 2 at Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem with Ron Plumlee and Garrett Brickey officiating. Interment was in the Salem Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Barker Funeral Home of Salem.

Pallbearers were Danny Walker, Denton Chipps, Dr. Michael Camp, Harry Bickey, Winford Coggins and Randy Tyler.

Memorials preferred to the Baxter Regional Medical Center Hospital Foundation.
