Joseph William Culhane, 67, of Cherokee Village died Feb. 4, 2003, at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock.
Born Nov. 14, 1935, in Chicago, he was the son of Thomas Culhane and Agnes Cline Culhane. He married Carol McDonald Oct. 25, 1958, in Chicago. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired meat cutter for Jewel Food Stores in Chicago.
The Culhanes moved to Cherokee Village seven years ago from Hanover Park, Ill. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village.
Survivors include his wife; two sons and their wives -- Brian and Tammy Culhane of Bloomington, Ill., and Scott and Sande Culhane of Romeoville, Ill.; two daughters and their husbands -- Beth and Alan Moreno of Bentonville, and Erin and David Bunting of Higden; a brother and his wife -- Thomas and Roberta Culhane; a sister and her husband -- Maryanne and George Coonley of Elizabeth; seven grandchildren -- Jordin, Devyn, Vaughn, Joey Maeve, Kevin, Renee and Hannah; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was Feb. 10 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village.
Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
