Kenneth (K.O.) James, 59, of Cave City died Oct. 15, 2005, in Sharp County. Born July 15, 1946, at Mobley, Ark., in Sharp County, he was the son of the late Odell James and Nellie Crabtree James. He was a school bus driver for 25 years with Cave City Public Schools and for the last five years he was a school custodian. He was a 1964 graduate of Cave City High School and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Cave City.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Wells James of Cave City; a son, Aaron James, of Batesville; a daughter, Laura Childers, of Cave City; three sisters, Jane Smith of Cave City, Carolyn Willmuth of Strawberry, and Debbie Nast of Batesville; three grandchildren, Cheyenne Childers and Cody Childers of Cave City and Allie James of Batesville; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral was held Oct. 18 at the Cave City High School Gym with Grayden Milligan officiating.

Burial was in Mount View Cemetery east of Cave City with arrangements by Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers were Mike Willmuth, Dennis Smith, Jim Smith, Russell Fowler, Jimmy Bristow and Harrison Townsley.

Honorary pallbearers were Cave City School employees.
