Kermit Richardson Larson, 83, of Cherokee Village died Dec. 18, 2003, at his home.
Born Nov. 19, 1920, at Duluth, Minn., he was the son of Carl W. and Hilda Gafvert Larson. He was a retired pharmaceutical sales representative for Scherin-Plough Corp, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member and past commander of the American Legion Post 346, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Boy Scouts of America, a member and song director of Northeast Ozark Community Band, and a member of Cherokee Village Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years, the Shriners of North America and Cherokee Village United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jayne Larson of the home; and two sons -- Richard W. Larson and Gregg R. Larson, both of Cherokee Village.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Bonnie Irene Larson; and a son, Steven Larson.
A memorial service will be Jan. 3 at Cherokee Village United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayman Hollis and the Rev. Kay Wiggins officiating.
