Lana Anderson, age 65, of Evening Shade died July 17, 2006, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born June 4, 1941, in Evening Shade, the daughter of Thomas Marlin and Zelma (Scribner) Marlin.
She retired from White Rodgers after 34 years as a machine operator and then worked at Pro-Dentec for eight years after her retirement. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby E. Anderson Sr. of the home; a son, Bobby Anderson Jr. of Batesville; two stepdaughters, Cheryl Neeley of Batesville and Darlene Diercouff of Springdale; a sister, JoDean Marlin of Evening Shade; two grandchildren, Trevor Anderson and Hunter Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Zelma Marlin; and a brother, Thomas Marlin Jr.
Pallbearers were Dale Neeley, Travis Neeley, Lloyd Johnson, Aaron Scott, Brooks Marlin and Robbee Brown. Honorary pallbearers were Sean Price, Brian Diercouff, Rick Smith and Sonny James.
Services were held July 20 at the Roller-Crouch Chapel in Batesville with Boyce Johnson officiating. Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
