Lucille Adline Anderson, 84, of Horseshoe Bend died July 23, 2004, at North Arkansas Life Care Center in Horseshoe Bend.
Born June 3, 1920, at North Freedom, Wis., she was the daughter of Peter and Ida Stienhorst Rettgen. She was married Jan. 31, 1942, to Ronald Anderson in North Freedom. They moved to Horseshoe Bend Nov. 1, 1979.
She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church of Horseshoe Bend and the Wisconsin Club. She was a volunteer for the Chamber of Commerce, she loved to play golf and enjoyed bowling and horseshoes. She was a loving wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald, of the home; a son, William Anderson and his wife, Mary Kay, of Crystal Lake, Ill.; a daughter, Shari Potter, and her husband, Christopher, of Cincinnati; a brother, Lawrence Rettgen; and a sister, Edna Shara; five grandchildren -- Kathleen Anderson, Stacy Anderson, Timothy Anderson, Heather Potter and Michael Potter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Rettgen.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel of Horseshoe Bend.
