Loyal W. "Woody" Andrews, 78, of Cave City died Feb. 19, 2003, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born Sept. 13, 1924, at Calamine, he was the son of Lacey and Minnie Mize Andrews. He was retired from Nu-Way Cleaners in Batesville, and was a member of Cave City Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Andrews of the home; two daughters -- Sue Bentley of Walnut Ridge, and Anita Altom of Cave City; a brother and sister-in-law -- Deal and Frances Andrews of Bull Shoals; five grandchildren -- Shelly James of Sulphur Rock, Jamey Sullens and his wife, Keri, of Walnut Ridge, Lana Sullens of Walnut Ridge, Krystal Altom of Batesville, and Ryan Altom of Cave City; seven great-grandchildren -- Myka James, Dylan James, Miranda Sullens, Slade Sullens, Tanner Sullens, Sierra Morris and Ashleigh Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Nell Elms Andrews; and a brother, Noel Andrews.
The funeral was Feb. 21 at Cave City Church of Christ with Dean Fugett officiating. Burial followed in Cave City Cemetery. Arrangements were by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Ray England, Brian England, Phillip Eugett, Donnie Creighton, Pat Sullivan and Clyde Cossey.
Honorary pallbearers were Jeff James, Dylan James, Ryan Altom, Jamey Sullens, Slade Sullens, Tanner Sullens and Loyd Cossey.
