Linnea Caroline Danner

Linnea Caroline Danner, 92, of Horseshoe Bend died Feb. 4, 2006, at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem. She was born May 5, 1913, in Rockford, Ill., the daughter of Karl and Esther Anderson.

During her working years she did restaurant work as a cook and was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church.

She was also a member of Ladies Guild, Notable Kitchen Band, the Wisconsin Club and AARP.

Survivors include two daughters, Roselyn Dill of Kenosha, Wis., and Beverly Cantwell of Kenosha; one son, Ron Danner of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one sister, Lillian Botemy of Florida; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Danner; and a son, LeRoy Danner.

A funeral Mass was held Feb. 7 at St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bend.

Arrangements were under the direction of Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel.
