Lloyd E. Johnson, age 86, of Ozark Acres, formerly of Rockford, Ill., died March 2, 2006, at the Ash Flat Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was born Oct. 20, 1919, in St. James, Minn., the son of the late Arthur H. and Albertina Carlson Johnson.
He was united in marriage on Jan. 10, 1945, in St. James to the former Eleanor Clarisa Erickson, who preceded him in death on Aug. 23, 1995.
He was a self-employed salvager for 50 years in Rockford, Ill., and the Hardy area.
He is survived by three sons, Larry and Randy Johnson, both of Ozark Acres, and Keith Johnson of Roscoe, Ill.; one sister, Gail Robbins of Oxford; two sisters, Rose and Mildred; one granddaughter, Melissa Mcmillan of Rockford; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Madison Mcmillan, both of Rockford.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Johnson; one brother; and three sisters.
Memorial services will be announced at a later day by the family.
The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service of Hardy.
