Loren Harold Pingleton, 76, of McHenry, Ill., died Nov. 23, 2005, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis.
He was born Sept. 22, 1929, in Alton, Mo., to Leland and Nora (Barton) Pingleton. On May 6, 1950, he married Kathleen Hille, in Pocahontas, Ark.
He loved to travel and ride his Honda motorcycle.
Survivors include a son, Michael (Tina) Pingleton; two daughters, Janice (John) Rhode, and Judy (David) Saban; five grandchildren, Jay (Linda) Roller, Rebecca (Joseph) Long, Jason Lamz, Tina Rhode and Jeremy Lamz; five great-grandchildren, Nicolette Roller, Breana Roller, Dylan Czarnecki, and Samantha and Jacob Long; four brothers, Carl Pingleton of O'Fallon, Mo., Keith (Betty) Pingleton of Lebanon, Mo., Curt (Judy) Pingleton of Palisade, Colo., and Gary (Betty) Pingleton of Carlinville; and a sister, Brenda (Phillip) Bennett of Hardy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and one brother, Larry Wade Pingleton.
The memorial service was held Nov. 29 at Colonial Funeral Home in McHenry. Rev. Roger Schneider officiated.
Interment followed in Woodland Cemetery.
