Lois I. Satterwhite, 79, of Cave City died Nov. 3, 2003, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born Jan. 8, 1924, at Sandtown, she was the daughter of Olen and Geraldene Hastings Pool. She was retired from International Shoe Company in Batesville and was a member of Pools Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Sandtown.
Survivors include a son, Ronald E. Satterwhite of Batesville; two daughters -- Willa Dean Taylor of Batesville, and Dottie Robbins of Cave City; a brother, Glendon Pool of Batesville; five grandchildren -- Pam Taylor of North Little Rock, Marnie Johnson of Saffell, Alexi Cude of Conway, and Andrea Jones and Adam Robbins, both of Batesville; and three great-grandchildren -- Kaitlyn Jones and Kaide Jones, both of Batesville, and Paige Johnson of Saffell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Arvil A. Satterwhite.
The funeral was Nov. 5 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Jimmy Richardson and J.W. Roach officiating. Burial followed in Lee's Chapel Cemetery at Sandtown.
Pallbearers were Jeff Holland, Tony Carter, Danny Stephens, Verdell Russ, Jeff Morris and Lavaughn Coles.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Steve Alexander, Allen Wilkerson and John Carter.
Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
