Leonteen (Lee) Marion Hall, 93, of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., died March 23, 2008, at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Ark. She was born April 2, 1914, in New Bedford, Ill., the daughter of the late George and Edna Smith.
She was a retired bookkeeper working for several businesses, mostly hotels. She sang with the Notabels and was a member of the Square Dancing Club and a member of the Horseshoe Bend First Baptist Church. Survivors include: a son, Donald Mentzer of Blue Springs, Mo.; a daughter, Linda Tullis of Horseshoe Bend; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Lyle Hall; her parents, George and Edna Smith; a son, Norman L. Hall; and three sisters. Funeral services were held March 26 at the Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel with Bro. Gary Wallace officiating. Burial followed in the Violet Hill Cemetery in Violet Hill, Ark. Arrangements were under the direction of the Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel.
