Lenore L. Ring, 91, of Cherokee Village died Oct. 22, 2006, at the Eaglecrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ash Flat.
Ring was born Aug. 3, 1915, in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Otto Franzen and Svea (Weden) Franzen. She graduated from St. Cloud State University with a teaching degree. She was united in marriage to Courtney C. Ring in Minnepolis, Minn. She moved to Cherokee Village in 1972 from Kansas City, Mo. She was a member of Christian Women's Club, the Stonecraft Ministries and Cherokee Village United Methodist Church. She was a certified dietician and was a licensed Arkansas real estate agent.
She is survived by two sons, Mikel J. Ring and wife Patricia, and Gregory Ring and wife Sue; one daughter, Kimberly A. Ring and husband Bret; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Courtney; one son, Robert; one brother, Vernon; and two sisters, Betty and Doris.
Funeral services were held Oct. 27 at Cherokee Village United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kay Burton officiating. Burial followed in the Oaklawn Cemetery.
