Levda McCord, 62, of Agnos died Jan. 12, 2005, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem.
Born April 13, 1936, in Heart, she was the daughter of James Lee and Ella Jane Mooney Mills.
She married Dale McCord April 23, 1955, at Wheeling. To this union, seven children were born. She was a homemaker and a member of Agnos Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; her children -- Larry (Terri) McCord of Great Bend, Kan., Eugene (Kelly) McCord of Agnos, Janet (Kenneth) Gates of Ash Flat, Kelvin (Jayne) McCord of Glencoe, Kalen (Michelle) McCord of Agnos, and Noble (Tiffany) McCord of Ash Flat; two brothers -- Noel (Willa Faye) Mills, and Doyle Mills, all of Mammoth Spring; a sister, Novalene Mills of Mammoth Spring; 19 grandchildren -- Stacy, Daniel and Sandy McCord, Canea, Jennifer, Austin and Caitlyn McCord, Kenny, Michael and Betsy Gates, Jacquline and Preston McCord, Seth and Erin McCord, Matt and Nicole Cook, Kailey McCord, Mackenzie and Madison McCord; two great-grandchildren -- Aracely McCord and Cody Gates; her aunts -- Blanche Martin and Agnes Mooney.
She was preceded in death by a son, Neal McCord; a grandson, Cody McCord; two brothers -- Oral and Eldon Mills; four sisters -- Claudette, Collen Fay and Carolyn Kay Mills and one who died in infancy; and her parents.
The funeral was Jan. 15 at Burks Chapel Church of Christ with burial in Burks Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home.
