Lora May Owens, 94, of Salem died Oct. 20, 2004, at Fulton County Nursing Home in Salem.
Born Feb. 5, 1910, in Heart, she was the daughter of Henry "Frank" Hall and Ada Belle Bishop Hall. She married Clarence Albert Owens Aug. 12, 1930, in Frenchtown and to this union two children were born. She was a clerk in various retail establishments for many years. She was a member of Salem Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sons -- Boyce (Mary) Owens of Moore, Okla., and Artis (Hattie) Owens of Salem; seven grandchildren -- Charles (Tammy) Owens, David (Lacy) Owens, and Lavenia (Garry) Goodson, all of Salem, Dinah (Moses) Owens-Glidden of Prescott, Ariz., Eric Owens, Tracy (Gary) Brown and Kirk (Tracy) Owens, all of Moore, Okla.; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother, Morris Hall of Ash Flat; and a sister, Gerri Langston of Wenatchee, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1962, a brother, five sisters, and her parents.
The funeral was Oct. 23 at the Cox-Blevins Chapel in Salem. Burial was in the Salem Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
