Lowell Roscoe Kinder, 71, of Centerton, Ark., died Feb.16, 2007, at Regency Hospital in Springdale, Ark. He was born June 29, 1935. in Sturkie, Ark., to Thomas Roscoe and Leona Grace (Ball) Kinder.
He was united in marriage to Berta Jean (Hammond) Kinder on July 9, 1953. To this union five children were born: Ronald Gale Kinder, Debra Jean Kinder, Steven Royce Kinder, Richard Dean Kinder and Linda Carol (Kinder) Rohrbach.
He graduated from Salem High School and attended business college in Kansas City. After retiring from Wal-Mart, as director of TBA in 1989, he enjoyed spending special time with his family, playing music, hunting depression glass and fishing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: one infant daughter, Debra Jean Kinder; his father; two brothers, Paul Dean Kinder and James Robert (Bobby) Kinder.
Survivors include: his wife, Berta; his mother, Grace Kinder of West Plains; three sons, Ronald and Sheila Kinder of Olathe, Kan.; Steven and Robin Kinder of Bentonville, Ark.; Richard and Tina Kinder, Bella Vista, Ark.; one daughter, Linda and Kenny Rohrbach, Centerton, Ark.; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Vera Bassham and Lenora Coleman, Salem; Joyce Holloway, West Plains; Janiece Booth, Cherokee Village; five brothers Boyd Kinder, Sturkie; Neal Kinder of Salem; Leo Kinder, Tulare, Calif.; Rollin Kinder and Gaylon Kinder, West Plains, Mo; several nieces; nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ in Bella Vista Feb. 20 with Bro. Randall Caselman officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers.
Pallbearers were his grandchildren: Rachel and Mike Willard; Amy Kinder; Steven and Jennifer Kinder; Tracy and Butch Latham; Jimmy Rohrbach; Christina Kinder; Sarah and Andy Beccard; Lindsey Rohrbach and Sheryl Kinder.
